in this video I have explained modulation of picv, and VFD ramp up and ramp down. picv valve modulation when supply air temperature is above the set point say 13 deg celsius then ddc controller will give command to pibcv valve to modulate to open till achieved the set point. once set point temperature is achieved the valve will closed. in case of VFD ramp down and ramp up, there is a temperature sensor installed in returned duct and analog input (AI) given to DCC controller. if temperature is raised in Returned Air Duct RAD, send signal to ddc controller to ramp up motor speed by VFD till set point in returned duct is achieved like 25 degrees Celsius in our case. thank for your support.... we are always here to share our experience and solution for HVAC system.....
