Mens boots come in a variety of types: work boots, casual boots, cowboy boots, but arguably the king of them all is a bespoke boot. Of course, custom boots are available in any style you like but finding one which truly resonates with you is much more rare. This is what first brought me to Gabbard when his brand was called MYG Handmade. The Nail Shank boots were the most incredible design I'd ever seen and I just had to have a pair to call my own. Years later Gabbard and I remain friends, and though his brand is now Kreosote - American Built Folkelore Boots, the aesthetic and build quality is very much the same.
