Nick performs with artists such as Paul McCartney, Jon Batiste (Colbert Show & at NYC Black Lives Matter protests), John Lithgow, Joe Piscopo, Rob Morrow, The Hot Sardines, Antonique Smith, Deep Singh, (Katy Perry, Sting, Robert Plant), Frank London, Zeb Bangash, Russell Hall (Bessie & The Rainbow Kids), Gordon Au: The Grand St Stompers & many other musicians & bands. Russo was the guitarist for legendary jazz organists, Jimmy McGriff & Jimmy The Preacher Robins, vibraphonist/composer/producer, Teddy Charles and leads The Scooches (Banjo Nickaru), Hot Jazz Jumpers & Nick Russo+11. Russo performs regularly with Lady Gaga's trumpet player, Alphonoso Horne. Nick has been an adjunct professor at Essex College, teaching artist at The Duke Ellington School, Louis Armstrong Middle School, at The Queens Y, Midori & Friends, PS144 and PS 101.
