Moment 2 Huge Cruise Ships Crash Into Each Other In Port

This is the moment two huge cruise ships collide in a port and need to be separated by tug boats. According to local media, the Argentine Naval Prefecture is investigating the incident between two ships belonging to MSC Cruises which collided at Puerto Madero in the country’s eastern capital Buenos Aires. Footage shared on social media shows the moment the MSC Poesia and MSC Orchestra collide. Reports said that one clip was filmed by a crew member on board one of the ships. In the video, the MSC Orchestra is seen hitting the Poesia, causing damage to the side of the ship. The two huge vessels then become stuck and tug boats are needed to pull them apart in the port. According to the Argentine navy, the Orchestra was departing Puerto Madero for the Uruguayan capital Montevideo when the accident took place. Port official Gonzalo Mortola told local media that although it is considered a minor accident, the navy is investigating the crash as it took place inside a national port. The AGP port authority explained that they have a number of permanent emergency protocols in place to provide necessary assistance in serious situations. The investigation is ongoing.
