Bring EXTRA Focus To Your Subject Using Photoshop's Contrast Adjustments

Glass can be a tricky subject to photograph, not to mention retouch. In this video, I show you quick and effective Photoshop techniques for adding punch to your images. Working on two different images, by Karl Taylor Education members Quentin Arrault and Slavek Sekanina, I show you how to use simple methods for adding contrast and vibrance to your images. In the first demonstration, I show you how to use a single adjustment layer to really bring focus to the subject, and in the second image, I show you how to use a combination of techniques, including using adjustment layers and masks to make precise adjustments to specific areas of an image. I also share some tips for efficient workflow and guiding the viewer’s eye by creating higher and lower contrast areas in the image.
