Your quad has to have the best tune, perfect ESC setting, best build, you know what I'm talking about. It's easily prone to jello with just one screw a little loose ruining your 1 take. 2) Gopro has class leading electronic stabilization such as hypersmooth. With another pass of professional stabilization called Reelsteady (paid software from GoPro) it makes you look like a smooth operator. It's super easy to use (literally minutes! A few button presses) and never let me down once! Rocksteady and gyroflow has let me down so many times I literally had to correct my videos with final cut pro instead. Luckily those are just personal hobby videos but still disappointing. 3) For O3 AU users, whatever settings you use, such as 4K 24fps, is pretty much what you are going to see while flying. That's going to make it choppy and laggy looking while flying making it kind of dangerous. 4) If your lipo accidentally gets disconnected, Upon connecting power again, your gopro will actually repair the footage. I can't say the same for other cameras I've used. This could save your butt in a paid environment! 5) If you fly only with the DJI O3, your cinewhoops very light, but it's much easier to bob up and down upon throttle. Especially if you use powerful motors. Having some extra weight such as an action camera can add stability during flight. 6) I want to point out, a lot of the new cinewhoop frame designs are a bit compromised for no props in view. The carbon plates have been extended front and back for this very reason adding extra weight. This makes it tricky to find consistency in balance and feel because now your cameras are all dangling at the front. To compensate, some BNF's use more powerful motors, thus less energy efficient than their V1 counterparts. --- Ideas for Cinematic Junkies for pure manual mode! ---- Consistent White Balance: 1) Change all the light bulbs inside the house to the same white balance (for example daylight) 1 take in Manual mode using 180 degree shutter rule: A) Film when interior lighting and exterior lighting is the same ambience, such as golden hour / blue hour / cloudy OR B) Manually light up the interior of the home to match the brightness of the exterior 2 or 3 takes: Instead of 1 take, split it into a few takes. Film interior first and before you fly outside, end it with a creative seamless transition, such as almost flying into a wall/texture. Then put on your ND filter / change your settings to suit outdoor.
