My Longest Ride to Camp in North Texas | Some Personal News too

Finally some free time and beautiful weather for a trip. The furtherest I've ridden to camp has been about 43 miles. So this trip I push it a little further and ride, in the end of the first night, 70 miles. I need to do this more to get ready for longer trips in the future. The bike felt amazing as always and never fussed. The new Trek Adventure Frame Bag helped me carry more on the bike. I did still have to take a back pack because I still can't get everything on the bike. I did shave wait by leaving behind my wet weather gear and a few other items. I know after this trip that a larger handlebar bag would help a ton, so I am looking I to that now. As for the trip, it couldn't have been better. Super relaxing, and just what I needed. The weather was just right and I finally enjoyed doing nothing. It was hard at times to figure out what to do. I took my favorite deck of cards, listened to some music for a bit, and meditated. I had already planned to go into Denison to hangout, but after getting the news about my new role, had to go out and have some fun. The rest of the trip was great, to ride on your own, at night and not worry about anything but the next mile, is great for the soul. Now with the new role, I hope to have more time to do these trips and hopefully explorer more of North Texas.
