Southern 4501 & N&W 611: Loop Trip Alexandria to Roanoke and Return 1985

SCM Railfan Productions is proud to present from my Dad's film collection, his coverage of a Washington chapter of the NRHS trip from Alexandria to Roanoke and return. The route followed the Southern to Front Royal and then down the N&W Valley line to Roanoke using Southern Mikado #4501. The following day N&W J class 611 pulled the train to Lynchburg and then back on the Southern to Alexandria.
