The last time I saw a '54 Chevy wagon was decades ago and then appeared this restored example. The '54 Chevy had three classes and each offered a wagon. Starting with the 150 Special with the Handyman wagon name, then the 210 Deluxe, also with the Handyman name, and the 240 Bel Air with the Townsman name. All Chevys had a 155 inch wheelbase and came in two and four door sedans, a Utility sedan, a Delray coupe, Sport Coupe hardtop and a convertible coupe. The Bel Air Townsman wagon could seat eight passengers, weighed 3,540 lbs., and had 8,156 sold with a base price of $ 2,283. A different grille and taillights depart this year from the '53 version. This example is all spiced up with very rare Chevy factory wire wheel covers a 350 cubic inch GM crate V8 with four barrel carb, coupled to a 700R4 automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, vintage air conditioning and heat, serpentine belt system, power steering, power disc brakes, vintage air conditioning and heat, plus custom tilt steering column. The interior is a factory stock replacement as well as the exterior two - tone paint. Although this rare Chevy wagon has been customized, at least it's an example you can see once again. Thanks for viewing.
