Lovebird roseicollis aviary February 2023. The peach-faced lovebirds are not in the mood to lay their eggs, apparently due to the frequent rains. At the time when we made this video, it could rain in our area from morning to evening, even into the night, and the weather was quite humid and cold (though not as cold as in Europe). Several types of lovebird's seeds are also difficult to buy, due to flood conditions which prevent crops from being harvested. Some vegetables are also quite expensive because many are not harvested, so the stock in the market becomes less and the price becomes expensive. Some fellow lovebird keepers also experience the same difficulties. Even so, the lovebirds at our place at least have enough stock of grain until the middle of this year. Hehehe.. But that's just canary seeds and white millet, we bought 4 sacks before the new year 2023, because usually after the new year the price of animal feed goes up. At least they can get good seeds even though some of their favorite vegetables are hard to find, like corn, spinach and lettuce.
