Data collection for impact and learning is unquestionably key to the effectiveness and impact of any organisation. But, what data to collect? how to collect it? What are the barriers to collecting appropriate data? How do you analyse it with minimum resources?  On 25 April, an amazing panel of practitioners, from three giving Women Project Circles, discussed these issues under the respectful and insightful moderation of Beatrice Scarioni.  Interesting insights included, the importance of including the whole community to understand how change has occurred, making sure there is a sensitivity to the cultural norms in addressing change. For meaningful data collection, it is essential that we understand what success means and looks like to the end beneficiary.
