Stonehaven is a seaside town in the North East of Scotland. With a stunning beach and harbour area, as well as a mix of new and old architecture, this is one of the most beautiful places in the North East. Stoney (As called locally) has 2 major A roads providing access to the town, the A90 and A92, they ensure easy access North and South and helps make it a popular location for visitors. Stonehaven was originally a fishing town but has now grown to 11,150. It has a little bit of everything, with a stunning beach, harbour and cliffs providing walkers with stunning views, it also has Dunnottar Castle near by. The town has many eateries from pubs to high end sea food restaurants, or you can just get a whippy cone at the sea side.
