Penn State welcomed Indiana for a home game in week 8 of the '95 season, and the Nittany Lions took advantage of every opportunity early, while it seemed as if Indiana missed on every opportunity it had. Even though the score looked like an offensive blowout, the real story was the defense. Plays were made everywhere, and the pressure put on Indiana receivers and quarterbacks was non-stop. Turnovers gave Penn State short fields to work with, and they capitalized with points seemingly every time. As they did the year prior in '94, the Hoosiers found a way, (again) to score two very late touchdowns in the game which made the score look more respectable. Penn State's Top Performers: Terry Killens: 4 sacks, 1 blocked punt returned for a TD Aaron Collins: interception returned for a TD Penn State Defense: 9 sacks, 6 turnovers The Nittany Lions sealed their sixth win of the year (2 losses) and eyed up an anticipated match-up with Northwestern for the next week. Indiana dropped its record to 2-6 with the loss to Penn State and would finish the year 2-9 and last in the conference standings in 1995.
