The Legacy of Telford 50 - Wellington Orbit

Thanks to help from Telford & Wrekin Council’s Telford 50 Legacy Fund and the hard work of dedicated volunteers and staff, a new arts cinema and community centre is about to open in Wellington. The Wellington Orbit project sees the former HSBC bank building in central Wellington transformed into a community venue with multiple facilities including a 63 seat cinema, a café/bar and for future development, multi-purpose rooms on the upper floors and basement that community groups will be able to use for different activities. The café opened its doors in May and the cinema is about to be inaugurated.
