In the early morning we are treated to a beautiful sunrise in the Greek town of Sitia. We prepare the Sling High Wing for its next flight towards the first African country, Egypt. Our routing first takes us to the coastal city of Marsa Matruh, to clear customs on this part military airport. Once our passports are stamped, we fly on course to the capitol city Cairo. We are even able to fly overhead the great pyramids of Giza! The next day we explore the city of Cairo, guided by 2 local friends. This is episode 4 of the Long way South Series; a 6 week journey flying the new Sling High Wing aircraft from The Netherlands to South-Africa.
