Verstappen won the race after starting P17, while Norris not only lost the lead in Turn 1 but also finished sixth. This means that Norris has just one sprint race left and must pursue a 62-point lead in the final three races. It goes without saying that the Brazilian Grand Prix has been quite devastating for Norris championship hopes, as the Brit saw himself losing the lead to Russell in Turn 1, and due to the damp conditions and limited visibility, he failed to regain it again.
