Developed by Gameloft, the plot of the game loosely follows that of the film, taking creative liberties to create its own storyline based on what was known about the story before the film released. Gameplay is very similar to most other 3D Spider-Man games, largely focused on either web swinging to reach certain objectives or engaging with enemies through close quarters combat.
