A Day in NAGASAKI 🗾 Kyushu, Japan 2024

Join us on a day trip to Nagasaki in Kyushu, Japan, visiting Chinatown, Dejima Wharf, the Peace Park and Museum and one of Japan's top 3 night views. ➡️ Get my 300 page Japan guide book: https://cakeswithfaces.co.uk/product/... There are lots of things to do in Nagasaki, so you can easily spend longer there. However, we went on a day trip from Fukuoka on the Kamome shinkansen. First we walked from the station to Dejima Wharf, which is by the sea with places to try fresh fish rice bowls. From there, we walked through the seaside park to Chinatown, where we just missed the lantern festival by a few days. Much of the city is walkable, but for places that are further off, the tram is a cheap and easy way to get around. We took the tram to the Peace Park and Museum - not an easy visit but a very well-done museum and very thought-provoking. Next we took the tram to the Nagasaki Ropeway, to go up Mount Inasayama and see one of Japan's top 3 night views. We got there just before sunset and waited in the cafe until it got dark to see the stunning view. Finally we had conveyor belt sushi, before taking the train back to Fukuoka. ▶️ SUBSCRIBE for more Japan travel videos on Thursdays. 🌈 CAKES WITH FACES MERCH (worldwide shipping): https://www.cakeswithfaces.co.uk ✨ FOLLOW CAKES WITH FACES:   / cakeswithfaces     / cakeswithfaces     / cakeswithfaces   00:00 Arriving in Nagasaki 02:38 Dejima Wharf 04:18 Chinatown 05:13 Lunch 05:42 Taking the tram 06:23 Peace Park & Museum 08:32 Nagasaki Ropeway 10:42 Mount Inasayama View 13:41 Conveyor belt sushi 18:57 Other things to do #nagasaki #nagasakiday #kyushu #japan #japantravel
