This is my English interpretation and take on Rerulili's Donor Song! I was interested in adapting this song for a long time partly because it's such a pretty song but also because I thought the idea behind the meaning of giving away a part of you to someone else is genius and really moving. Personally though, I always found other English lyrics and the original direct translation to be a bit literal for my liking with the lines about hearts and livers so I decided to take a more metaphorical take and spin the lyrics more about the concept of giving up oneself for another vs literal body parts. It may not be the most faithful and direct adaptation out there but hopefully you guys will still enjoy it! Unfortunately this is one of these songs where you need a wide vocal range that I don't really have to pull off, please excuse some of the higher parts of this song, I gave it my best (I would love it if anyone were to cover it and do it more justice!).
