When I was 19 years old living in Swansea, my band had just broken up and I was feeling sorry for myself, my mum showed me an article featuring a free Princes Trust week long course advert and after a bit of deliberation I decided to sign up for it. On this course I met an inspiration guy and friend of mine and my life took a huge turn due to the decisions made from that moment.. Yes I had to work hard and make good decisions however I often wonder what would have happened if I had been a grumpy teenager or egotistical musician and not gone on this course. In life these sliding doors moments happen every day but you have the opportunity to make the big ones happen by putting yourself in the most likely situation to get the big life choices! If you are seizing the day, grabbing every opportunity and making the most of each one putting yourself out there and not allowing laziness or ego to get in the way you will find more of these career defining opportunities and sliding doors moments will happen.
