As we enter the summer months inventory levels nationally are up 36% from last year, but what does that look like in relation to most other years? Well, we are still about 20% below 2020 numbers and we had a little issue that year called COVID and we are about 40% less inventory than 2017, which was a pretty "normal" year. This explains a lot of the reason why prices are still rising about 4%-5% annually.
