Why Kassie Chose a Masters in Nursing Education

After graduating from college with a degree in anthropology, Kassie decided to become a nurse. She started searching for the right nursing school with one important quality in mind: speed. The thought of having to dedicate another two to four years to earn a bachelor’s degree was unsettling to Kassie. That’s when she decided to earn her masters in nursing education through Marquette University’s Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program. This allowed her to leverage her non-nursing bachelor’s degree to transition into a successful nursing career in 18-21 months. “I chose Marquette’s Direct Entry MSN program because it was close, the academics were really good, and after speaking with admissions, I felt like I was already a part of the community,” she says.
