One of the things that bugged me most about the GMT400 K2500 trucks, and my Suburban was how narrow the rear axle was, so I'm getting rid of the 14 bolt full floater and swapping a Dana 70 super from a 2005 Express 3500 SRW van! This one is a 4.10 limited slip which is a pretty rare version of the Dana 70, but it also has disc brakes, 37 spline axles, and its 70 inches wide which to me is the perfect width for this suburban. While the 14 bolt full floater is a great axle, and I could have done wheel spacers, a disc brake conversion, and added a posi, so to me this is the best solution.
