27th August 2022 marked the first time that Singapore has ever seen one of ours being installed a Cardinal – a momentous and historical occasion that the local Church and the nation will remember forever. Just like Sts Peter and Paul both of whom laid down their lives for the spreading of the Gospel to all nations, Cardinal William Goh is now asked to do the same – to expand his heart for the broken and his work of evangelisation to the Universal Church. Let us keep our shepherd ever in our prayers; that the Lord will continue to grant Him strength, wisdom, and a renewed spirit as he embarks on this new mission. May He too, teach us how we can be good collaborators in this work of mission for the Universal Church.
