The 99W Drive-in theater was started by J.T. (Ted) Francis in August 1953 and is currently owned by his grandson, Brian Francis. The family also owns the Cameo Theater (built in 1937) in downtown Newberg, Oregon. This outdoor movie theater shows TWO movies each night so you REALLY get your money’s worth, just be prepared to stay up late! They still play the old concession snack bar reel during the 15 minute break between the two movies. The 99W Drive-In Theater is a piece of Oregon history and a great family adventure.
