Undoubtedly one of the most common questions I've been asked since Contrast and similar one-coat paints arrived on the market has been, "Can you paint British infantry with these?" To which the answer is always a slightly desperate, "Yes, but..." British battledress having such a specific, distinct colour has meant that I've held off on demonstrating a method which I think would work to get an army on the table until now. Try mixing in a little extra Ochre Clay for French greatcoats and you can rocket through an early war French army as well!
