Medieval Gouda, City of Cheese and Stroopwafels

In this series of trips, I take a train to a city in the Netherlands that I know very well. On this tour, we visit a city famous for its cheese...the amazing Gouda. This is the city where I grew up and lived until I turned 18. We will see the charm of this tiny city, learn about its history, why Gouda became such a famous cheese and see some stroopwafels. Gouda has a famous gothic city hall in the middle of the square, the longest Church of the Netherlands, some very cute canals and a huge windmill. You will love it for sure.
