It has been announced that the National Wrestling Alliance will continue airing new episodes of POWERRR exclusively on the X. Of all the matches that were filmed back in Tampa, the tag team match of Hollyhood Haley J and Tiffiany Nieves is the most peculiar. Nieves and J have squared up early and often for Ohio Valley Wrestling. Taking on the Women's World Champion and baby sister Kylie doesn't make a ton of sense to me, but does set up a potential storyline with Nieves and Kenzie. Also in action Bryan Idol and Carson Drake. Carson Drake opted to give Mims the victory at the NWA 76 during the NWA National Championship match. Could this be a sign of what's to come for Drake? What promise did BLK Jeez make? And will he be a contributing factor to this match-up? In maybe the most surprising news coming out of these tapings is the NWA identifying Slade as a Junior Heavyweight. I'm not saying that Slade isn't a Junior Heavyweight. But with that designation, I'm hoping to see a matchup between Slade and Taylor down the road. Slade is a beast. I wouldn't have guessed Boz as a Junior either. So this match will be very interesting. Max will defend their NWA Television Championship against Mr. Grim. We saw Mr Grim get involved during the Eric Smalls/Relando altercation from 76. Not sure that should warrant a title shot at Max, but I digress. Max looks to build towards the Lucky 7 Series and a potential matchup against Thom Latimer. And the saga of Blunt Force Trauma and The Immortals will continue as the Liberty Bell Brawl 2 (electric boogaloo) will also be a part of the festivities.
