The Mother of Pearl shawl is shown here in two versions. The original version was made with our luxurious Pearlescent Worsted yarn. Pearlescent Worsted is a 50:50 blend of Superwash Merino Wool and Mulberry Silk. Smooth with a gorgeous gleam! When you combine these fibers into a single-ply yarn, you get subtle differences in tone, as the wool and silk take the dye differently. The colors truly appear to be iridescent! 220 yds/201 m per skein. The original version used five skeins (1023 yds/936 m) of our Pearlescent Worsted yarn and was made with color Mother of Pearl Pearlescent Worsted.
