I had put on weight over the last two years with snacking and being at home more with Covid shutdowns. I’ve struggled my whole life with keeping weight off. I thought I was eating well, but wasn’t losing weight. Some people recommended that I look into Chef AJ’s ultimate weight loss, and I learned that it was starting in two days, so I signed up. I was able to lose 12 pounds and reach my goal weight. The best part was that I was never hungry, as I had been in previous weight loss programs I’d tried. I had to learn new ways to cook without oil and salt, but after awhile it got easy. I feel the best I’ve ever felt in my life, and unexpectedly lowered my total cholesterol from 218 to 146. I’ve maintained my weight loss longer than I’ve ever been able to, and have changed my way of eating to be plant based. My mom had breast cancer in her late 50’s and then died of lung cancer in her 60’s. My Dad has diabetes and heart disease. I’m turning 60 soon, so my motivation to continue to eat this way is not only to keep the weight off, but to also eat in a way that I’ve learned prevents cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
