The Committee has scheduled a debate in Westminster Hall on the motion “That this House has considered e-petition 554150, relating to Nigeria and the sanctions regime”. Theresa Villiers MP, a member of the Petitions Committee, will be opening the debate. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office will be sending a Minister to respond. What are petitions debates?
