Baking Soda acts as a natural fungicide, plants like tomato/rose plants are prone to fungus attack, so you can add 1 teaspoon of baking soda in 5 litres of water and spray it on your plants to prevent and fight fungus. Baking Soda is extremely potent and can dry up / burn your plant, so, don't use more than 1 teaspoon in 5 litres of water. Apart from this baking soda also acts as a weed retarder, just sprinkle some baking soda on your soil. You may give 2 teaspoon of baking soda along with one teaspoon of Epsom salt to your tomato plants as well as slightly alkaline soil loving plants such as geraniums, begonia, hydrangeas, okra!
