Today we're taking you along on our first day in Japan, going from Tokyo to Kyoto via Osaka🙌🇯🇵 Sakura cherry blossom season in Japan has been on our bucket list FOR YEARS and we finally got the chance to go now that we completed our 100-country goal😍🌸 We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university, and live life full-time🧔🏻👱🏻♂️ We've been together for eight years and have been traveling pretty much since day one✈️ We're trying to see and learn as much about the world as possible before we settle down somewhere in the world👨👨👧👦 In 2022, we completed our goal of visiting 100 countries at the age of 25🌍 Check our YouTube About page for more details👨🏼🤝👨🏻 ---------------------------------- Instagram: www.instagram.com/oskaranddan Music: http://share.epidemicsound.com/nqD7H ---------------------------------- Japan was country 38, first visited in 2018🌍 Thank you for watching!🙏😍 0:00-1:28 Our ROUGH journey to Japan... 1:29-3:05 Meeting up and flying to Osaka 3:06-7:40 Exploring Osaka for the day (Sakura in full bloom!!) 7:41-9:23 Train to Kyoto (important info!) 9:24-11:07 Traveling ON the beaten path is underrated sometimes... 11:08-12:49 Ending the day with Japanese curry (BIG LOVE) We started our trip in the Keihanshin region, which is Japan's second largest metropolitan area after Tokyo, made up of the cities Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, and other smaller ones. After eight days around this region, we hopped on the Shinkansen bullet train twice, first to Hiroshima and then to Fukuoka. From there, we took a boat to Busan, South Korea (we were SO excited about this ferry ride between Japan and Korea!) before catching a train to Seoul and flying home from there!
