F-150 Steering Wheel Swap & Replacement ( Complete Guide)

In this video I show the steps and procedures necessary to replace, upgrade, or swap your steering wheel on an F150. This video was made for 2015 and newer F-150s. The truck we’re working on in this video is a 2015 XLT and I replace the steering wheel with an OEM part. With that said, a lot of guys like to upgrade their steering wheel to a leather wrapped unit or the 17-19 raptor steering wheel. If you go with an OEM Ford part the wiring, trim, and buttons come complete with the steering wheel so there is no swapping parts needed in order to do the job. If you purchase an aftermarket steering wheel as shown in the video you will need to swap your trim pieces and buttons in order to complete the job, its not a large task but it’s just a little bit more work that needs to be done.
