Hanoi is street food heaven here in Vietnam and today we're heading out for some unique and delicious street foods! First stop is a bun Cha place however this isn't any old bun Cha spot. This restaurant specialises in Bún Cha Ruoi - the main ingredient here being fried ragworm cakes. Ragworms are a delicacy here in Northern Vietnam at this time of the year, they look pretty horrible but fortunately when made into patties with tangerine peel, pork, herbs become absolutely delicious. I really recommend this place the owners were characters and it only cost us 45k VND each! We then found a little lady at the side of the street selling HUGE cups of lemon tea for only 10k VND which is an absolute bargain. Before eating again we went for a walk in Hanoi and visited a lake in our local area at sunset, all the locals were out fishing and relaxing on the lake it was super chill. We then hit up a beef fried rice spot which looked legendary. The place was so busy non stop, the guy had a massive wok right on the street and was making mountains of delicious fried rice. We got a plate each for 40k VND and it was so so good this is a street food spot you must visit in Hanoi for sure.
