How to light a simple and fun DIY wine bottle half inch round fiberglass kerosene or citronella oil candle. Always make sure you prime the wick. Either use the technique seen in the video to soak the wick up to the tip. When you do it yourself you can see the wick soak up the oil. Always have a fire extinguisher at the ready. These are great to generate mood lighting anywhere. If you are in an environment where tipping the bottle over is an issue you could fill small metal buckets with sand while the bottle is inside. The bucket of sand should provide a nice heavy wide base. You could get creative and make a really nice bucket and bottle combination.
