Today on the railway, Southern Pacific GS-4 No. 4449 'Daylight' goes on his official first run! He can be seen hard at work along side the British locomotives and he feels right at home! The British locos are also glad to have a new friend from "across the pond" :) I had to remove the American style coupling from Daylight's tender and luckily there was enough room there to fit a hook-and-loop coupler from the Bachmann Thomas and Friends range. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the same with the Southern Pacific coaches as there wasn't enough room... I'll see if I can fashion something out for a coupling to match the rest of my stock lol.
