Copper Golf Club Restoration

In this video I restore a PING Beryllium Copper golf club. The restoration process is explained below. Enjoy the video! The Restoration Process: The first step, as with all restorations, was to clean the club. I did this by soaking it in a Vinegar and Salt solution for 4-6 hours. This is an acidic solution and helps to remove or loosing up and dirt and grime on the club head. Once the appropriate amount of time had passed, I removed the old paint using some paint stripper, and then began the polishing process. To polish I used a common metal polish and polishing wheel with a semi-hard wax. This was all that was really needed to bring back the original Copper shine. Once nice and shiny, I restored the paint to it's original colours. I used Hammerite Metal paint to do this. The grip was old and very used, so was replaced by a hard wearing cord grip. It's a simple exercise of removing the old grip and attaching the new one with some grip tape and adhesive solution. Once complete the club was restored back to it's original shine. And yes that definitely was me making that hole in one... Honest!
