The SBO is an orbital automatic deburring machine that deburrs blades easily and quickly via the action of the sanding heads movement back and forth over the cutting edge. The deburring is achieved by means of 3 oscillating sanding heads, two fixed in contact with the back of the blade and the third head set onto the edge bevel. The blade is secured by 3 clamps on the base support. The sandpaper is commercial and can easily be replace when necessary. Deburring is considered an important phase of knife regrinding, and is a polishing of the bevel of a sharpened knife to remove any remaining grinding flash following regrinding. Deburring not only improves the performance of cutting edge but it also increases the durability. Ideal for deburring paper blades, guillotine blades, veneer blades and peeling blades.
