If you had asked me a couple of years ago what I wanted to do with my life, I would have told you with confidence that I wanted to study medicine in order to eventually become a surgeon. After my first year of college, I realized this is far from what I wanted to do. I got to a point where I was so unaware about what I wanted to do with my life that I decided the best option would be to try something as far from studying science as I could. So I decided to find any camera I could get my hands on, pack up my belongings, and travel abroad. I ended up living in Germany for my second year of college, creating (pretty horrible) videos that documented my travels in an exciting way with some of my best friends. Fast forward to now and I cannot believe how much of a journey it has been. What started as a small hobby eventually lead to making a few videos for friends/family and has now grown into working as a videographer full-time with hopes to travel around the world. This crazy journey has led me to nearly 40 countries thus far, but more importantly has shifted everything I thought I knew about the world. It has completely changed my perspective on life as a whole. Filmmaking and traveling is no longer just a hobby, but in fact something I live for that fills me up to the brim with joy.
