On this sewing projects for beginners, I was so inspired by Cottagecore dress that I googled online from the brand LoveShackFancy. So I decided to recreate it. I bought the dress and skirt from H&M armed with the idea of doing a mixed prints and dark florals for Fall. You can easily find garments similar to to what I have in Goodwill or any charity shops. The main idea is find a complimenting fabrics. If you don't like mixing prints it's totally fine just use a solid color that also compliments the main fabric that you are using. You can still add length to a short dress that way. I decided to make a cottagecore dress that is unique and playful.
