Details: That is my best attempt ever at this song on Bass landing at 99.5% Accuracy... That's up from my previous best score that had been sitting at 99.2% Accuracy... I love this song and haven't had it for Bass all that long... By now I have attempted this song probably 2 dozen times if you combine 6-String attempts with Bass attempts for a total... I also quite love this song so I always can't wait to play it again... Some songs I only play for practice and a better score... If I don't get that I don't give a s**t... Songs like this, I would play it and play it even if I had 100% every time or a 10% every time. Details From Previous High-Scores Posted: Yes, this is a New Attempt... Again... I do a lot of that. I get excited with a decent score and I post it so I can study it to get a better score tomorrow... So, two days in a row, that's what I've done... This is my new best... What I said at the end was... "Let's see how that one turns out" then I thought about it and said... "I bet this one could be a good one" which means it felt good, it sounded good, it simply felt better than previous attempts by a notable amount... Then I said "That Actually Was A Good One!" by which I meant, breaking through the 99.0% "Marker" by which I measure my own success or failure... It can't be helped, it's who I am. The final thing that I said was that I MUST CREDIT Volbeat's Bass Player - Kaspar Larsen because this guy is a Legend & another Bass Hero of mine personally. It's his bass-lines that are some of the most challenging and bloody fun to learn of all the music I try to play. I have a lot of admiration and respect for what this entire band has done. This is what I said after the attempt Yesterday... Details: 1. That's up from my previous best attempt, yesterday, which landed at 98.8% and that had been up from 97.5% Accuracy. 2. That attempt yesterday was my 1st Attempt @ Bass Guitar on this song that I originally got for 6-String a while back but had no Bass portion to it... I found the Bass portion 2 or 3 days ago. I've only tried to play it maybe 3 times ever on any type of guitar. 3. This is a f*****g GLORIOUS song! There are songs that "I Like", songs that "I Love", and then there are songs that speak to my soul and just f*****g move me! This song is of the last category. 4. My cover here is highly imperfect. It's not crispy, clean, professional, or very impressive at all. It is the best I've managed so far though. 5. I'm keeping this to study, because it didn't turn out too bad even if it's not what I would prefer. I'll get there by studying it. 6. I'm terrible at slides still... My timing is off here and there... I'm not really familiar enough with playing the song on any guitar yet to know what is coming... As the song goes on, if you keep watching, you'll see I start to sort out what is going on and it gets better. 7. I try some more in the next day or two... Slowly moving up.
