Industry Giant II is the sequel to the 1998 game Industry Giant (I know, big surprise). The game was developed and published in 2002 by JoWood Productions (also known for their Transport Giant series). The game is a business simulator (in the since), with players striving to establish a large business chain. Gameplay consists mainly of building supply chains: cutting down trees to make logs to make boards to make furniture for example. Transport plays an important role as well, with players able to build rail lines, freeways, airports, and harbors in order to transport goods from the factories to the shops in the city, or where ever the player needs it to go. However, passenger traffic is not available, only cargo. Gameplay consist of endless mode, where players can either play in an endless business mode, or in free mode, where money is of no concern (sort of pointless in a business sim, but I guess why not), or campaign mode, where the player has to build an business from the ground up to meet certain objectives. No sequel was ever published to continue the series.
