When the San Antonio Spurs took Rob Dillingham 8th overall I was excited. Mainly because Dillingham is a great guard to have next Victor Wembanyama. However his draft rights were traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for a 2030 pick swap, and 2031 first round pick. So while the Wemby/Dilly duo dream is dead, I am excited about Dillingham being in Minnesota. I think it’s a great situation for him to be in. And I’m very encouraged by what Minnesota can do with him in terms of his development in the short term, and fit in the long term.
