पुलिस पर जानलेवा हमला करने वाले तीन अभियुक्त गिरफ्तार डूंगरपुर जिले के साबला थाना अंतर्गत 13 अगस्त को संध्याकालीन गस्त के दौरान मणिशंकर हेड कांस्टेबल और मय जाप्ता जयपाल सिंह दिनेश कांस्टेबल चालक गोपाल थाने से कस्बे साबला की तरफ गस्त कर रहे थे कि निठाऊवा रोड पर स्थित होटल तूफान के पास में कुछ लड़के आपस में शराब पीकर हंगामा करने की सुचना मिली। सूचना पर हेड कांस्टेबल मय जाप्ता तूफान होटल के पास पहुंचे तो देखा कि 12 व्यक्ति शराब के नशे में होकर झगड़ रहे हैं जिस पर हेड कांस्टेबल मणिशंकर मय जाप्ता समझाइश कर उनके नाम पते पूछे तो अभियुक्त राकू उर्फ रांका उर्फ राकेश पिता नारायण मीणा निवासी मछलियां थाना निठाउआ और उसके अन्य साथियों ने मिलकर एक राय होकर हेड कांस्टेबल और मय जाप्ता के साथ इट पत्थरों से हमला कर दिया जिससे हेड कांस्टेबल और मय जाप्ता को चोटे आई सरकारी वाहन के काच फोड़ दिए गए और नुकसान किया गया। पुलिस द्वारा कार्रवाई करते हुए थाना अधिकारी राकेश कटारा साबला के नेतृत्व में वांछित आरोपीगनों की तलाश हेतु टीम का गठन किया जाकर संभावित स्थानों पर दबिश देकर वांछित आरोपियों में से मुख्य आरोपी रांका उर्फ राकेश पिता नारायण लाल मीणा उम्र 23 साल निवासी मछलियां थाना निठाउआ जिला डूंगरपुर एवं अन्य दो सहयोगी आरोपी शांतिलाल पिता रामलाल मीणा उम्र 21 साल निवासी गड़ा अरंडिया पुलिस थाना साबल और अर्जुन पिता भवरिया मीणा उम्र 20 साल निवासी मछलियां थाना निठाउआ जिला डूंगरपुर को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायालय में पेश किया जाकर कारागृह डूंगरपुर भेज दिया गया। Three accused arrested for deadly attack on police During evening patrol on 13th August under Sabla police station of Dungarpur district, head constable Mani Shankar and his team Jaipal Singh Dinesh constable driver Gopal were patrolling from the police station towards the town of Sabla when they got information about some boys creating ruckus after drinking alcohol near hotel Toofan situated on Nithaua road. On receiving the information, head constable and his team reached near Toofan hotel and saw that 12 people were fighting after getting drunk. When head constable Mani Shankar and his team explained to them and asked their names and addresses, then the accused Raku alias Ranka alias Rakesh son of Narayan Meena resident of Machhliya police station Nithaua and his other companions together attacked the head constable and his team with bricks and stones due to which head constable and his team got injured, the glass of the government vehicle was broken and damage was done.
