Experience the thrill of Waterfall Rappelling in Ratnagiri. Location - Nivali, Ratnagiri. Difficulty - Medium Height - Around 90ft Konkan is known for its Beaches, Greenery and Authentic Sea Food. But now a days it is also getting famous for Adventure Sports. There are many places in Konkan (Especially in Ratnagiri District) which are equally appealing for Tourists as well as Adventure Lovers. Hence its a great emerging Destination for Adventure Tourism. Jiddi Mountaineering is a leading group in Mountaineering and Adventure Sports in Ratnagiri. Jiddi offers many activities including but not limited to Trekking, Climbing, Rappelling, Vally Crossing, Camping etc. Waterfall Rappelling at Nivali was one of the most amazing experiences I had with Jiddi. It was a great pleasure to be a part of Management Team that day and to experience the amount of efforts one has to put to make an event successful. I was with the team since Dawn to Dusk. To offer a 10 minutes of adventure to an participant, volunteers need to shed sweat for hours in Setup and Windup without any compromise in Saftey. It requires a great mental and physical strength and Jiddi Team does the job gracefully. It was a thrilling experience to do Rappelling in chilled water and surrounding greenery makes it more amusing. You should do it atleast once in life.
