Divination Sequence

This composition started as a writing exercise that I began during the Covid-19 lockdown. I have owned and loved a copy of the Rider-Waite Tarot since I was a young teen. Every card was fully-illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith, and I fell headlong into her world of fantastic landscapes, buildings, people. For my writing exercise, I decided that I would draw a card and write music (at least 30"; no longer than 3' 14") based on what I saw there. Over the course of the 78 cards in the deck I composed a lot of music. Most of it I like a lot. Some of it is bad. Some of it contains interesting ideas that might need to be explored some other time. And some felt finished. I managed to narrow those down to 12 cards--I was aiming for 10, but I couldn't get there. All of these belong here.
