Full Hotel Tour and Review of The Ottawa Marriott Hotel in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

My TripAdvisor Review: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserR... This is a Full Hotel Tour and Review of the Ottawa Marriott Hotel in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This is a pretty interesting and cool hotel, originally opened in 1972 as a Holiday Inn, this place was later a Crowne Plaza, a Raddison, and then became a Marriott in the late 1990s or early 2000s. This place is overall a rather basic 1970s era business hotel, but is Indeed REALLY COOL!!!! It features a rooftop revolving event area, Ballrooms with AMAZING VIEWS Of Ottawa, a Kids' Play Room, a Basketball area, and Xbox Ones' and PS4s!!!!! Sounds like a fun place to stay at!!!! I did find the 1970s era architecture to be rather cool too!!!! The restaurant here had really good food as well!!!! And the staff and service was great!!!! The lobby area was renovated back in 2010, but the rooms, while not original to the building do feel quite dated and straight out of the 90s. The hallways and elevators do indeed show their age too, but all have been kept in great condition, and why fix it if it ain't broken? The rooms were in overall really good shape, maintained well, and the beds were SUPER COMFY and REALLY SUCK YOU IN!!!! The room was great aside from a few stains and scrapes, and the elevators and hallways feel very well maintained too for the most part and get the job done, even though they aren't in MINT condition. The place DOES feel a bit dated, and not in a charming way like the Chateau Champlain, but I don't see why people complain so much about places' being dated. This place while not the latest and greatest was clean, comfy and in really good shape and well maintained in all areas. Sure, there may be nicer hotels in Ottawa, but if your looking for a business 4 star hotel, that is fairly affordable ($215 a night, very affordable for Ottawa during Canada Day time), and in good shape with great service and maintenance which you'd expect from ANY Marriott, definitely put this place at the top of your list!!!! With that said, enjoy the tour and review!!!!
