It's common for Fullmetal Alchemist fans to get up in arms discussing which of the two anime adaptions were better, and a common talking point of this debate surrounds the antagonists: The various Homonculi. While it's often argued that, due to their connection with Human Transmutation, the 2003 versions are much better characters, I spend this video raising a counterargument. Explaining both why 2003 didn't do a great job capitalizing on the potential of these characters and also why Brotherhood did a much better job writing them as characters.
