Ilse DeLange is a Dutch singer-songwriter who is well-known in the country and has achieved international success as well. She was born on May 13, 1977, in Almelo, Netherlands, and began singing at a young age. DeLange's music combines country, pop, and rock influences. Her music has earned her several awards, including eight Edison Awards and a CMA Global Country Artist Award. DeLange has also been a coach on the Dutch version of the singing competition show, "The Voice," and has appeared as a guest judge on the UK version of the show. Ilse has always shown herself to be a great admirer of American country and folk music, including Bruce Springsteen as one of her musical references. She has performed several of his songs, such as this magnificent version of "Born to Run" that concluded one of her concerts at Gelredome in Arnhem, Netherlands on March 26, 2011.
